No, I post all my thesis posts publicly on X and nowhere else. I also don’t believe in hiding anything behind a paywall! The $1 sub on X is just extra space for random shower thoughts throughout the day since I don’t want to flood my main timeline with that. Vast majority of people probably don’t care for that. Unfortunately that’s the minimum amount I have to set for X + prevent hft algorithms from frontrunning everything otherwise I’d make it free.

Thanks! I love interacting with the Chinese community. As for Innolight and Eoptolink i think they’re top tier longs for photonics segment. Especially with the transceiver boom now. But if they’re not monopolies like $AXTI, I personally just prefer to invest in Western supply chain alternatives like $AAOI instead. The market usually assigns a premium to “Made in America” stocks, even if they don’t have as much revenue/profitability.

Thanks. This first two months will probably be one of the most legendary but unappreciated moments of Trump’s administration. Lot of media/left wing politicians are critizing this from a moral perspective. But economically/geopolitical dominance speaking: This was the probably the single best outcome America could ever hope for without getting into any direct conflict with Russia and China. Diplomatic discussions and treaties with either countries would not have changed anything. The vast majority of people completely misinterpreted the actual intentions and implications.

The Venezuela takeover was largely a surprise to everyone (as it was mainly a blockade before). Hence why traders were able to make enormous profits on beneficiaries like Gold Reserve (gap up 100%+) and $CVX at the same time as institutions. With Iran, institutions/traders have already re-positioned well ahead of time and most things have already been priced in. But I do expect volatility given the event has been realized. Yeah not sure where retail investors on X are getting their news that they missed this.

That's a really fair anecdotal response. Even despite personally using opus to code UI/frontends, I still have my design teams use figma for the initial design work from my experience. I haven't found AI able to effectively design unique websites well, eg. bento designs, aside from the standard SaaS type template-websites or good looking open source shadcn type websites that are already pre-designed.
