帮助无家可归者。我以前在加州大学伯克利分校上学,学校有个叫 People's Park 的公园(好像后来被拆了),很多人会在那里过夜。还有些人在伯克利市中心搭帐篷卖报纸,都是为了勉强活着攒住房子钱,因为加州的一切都太贵了。 我在那几年每天去上课或者去吃午饭时都会经过那里,也和很多住在街头的人成了朋友,所以那段经历改变了我对“我最能帮助谁”的看法。

aid for homelessness. went to uc berkeley and we had a park called people's park (think it got removed) where a lot of folks slept. And people who camped out in downtown berkeley to sell newspapers were living day-to-day to get housing because everything was unaffordable in california. Walked by every day to class for a few years or to lunch and made a ton of friends with people who lived on the streets during my time there. so changed my perspective a bit on who I can best help.
