Reports are saying Alex Saab allegedly knows how to access this Bitcoin pile since he built the architecture that kept the regime alive under sanctions. However, there was a prisoner swap, so he was able to escape US custody. Pretty sure it's multi-sig + more secure scheme, but given coercion, it's likely the United States government can confiscate a lot of holdings.
